Box breathing is very easy. It involves these four steps:

1. Letting out all of the air in your lungs to the count of four.
2. Keeping your lungs empty for a count of four.
3. Inhaling for a count of four.
4. Keeping your lungs full for a count of four.

 

Box breathing is a fantastic 'go to' strategy for:

* Thinking more clearly

* Making better choices

* Telling our brain that "I am OK"
